INTRODUCTION My Name is Ackim Kalisani Mwaijande, and was born on the 15th of October 1962, in a Mine Hospital in the town of Chililabombwe on the Copperbelt Province of Zambia.
My Parents were Tanzanians by birth and they resided in Zambia where they had gone for a better living. I am a second born child out of seven and all of my other Six siblings were also born in Zambia My elder brother, Fanuel, was taken to Tanzania at a tender age were here stayed with Uncle, the elder brother of my Father. So I remained at home with the rest of the family, though others were not yet born, as an acting first born of the parents and in fact thats what everyone who were our neighbors by then knew about me; as the eldest son. My First School As soon as I was old enough in the early 70s, I was enrolled at Chililabom were primary schoolWhich is situated in the North West part of the town neighboring pp residing compound to the South, C Compound to the East Konkola Stadium to the north and a Mine, 3Shaft to the West. It was also not very far from B Compound from where I was staying. As such, I used to walk alone to and from School but mostly, I would join other pupils going my direction. In due course, I found a walking friend. Every School day, we would meet at a certain point where we even usually part at knocking off time. We were eventually joined by other guys. As the days went on, we became friends and started visiting each other at home.
